ExpressJet Airlines (US) has faced a significant regulatory setback as the US Department of Transportation (DOT)denied its request for a waiver from the revocation-for-dormancy rule. Additionally, the DOT dismissed the air carrier’s notice to resume operations and formally revoked the certificate authority previously issued to ExpressJet.
