ACIA Aero Leasing, based in Ireland, has announced the delivery of a second ATR72-600, bearing serial number 1181, to regional operator Emerald Airlines. This milestone continues the growing relationship between the two Irish aviation entities, further strengthening Emerald Airlines’ short-haul regional network capabilities.
Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Emerald Airlines of Ireland, has taken delivery of one ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft, bearing serial number 1279. The aircraft is powered by PW127M engines and will support regional connectivity across Aer Lingus’s short-haul network.

Emerald Airlines (Ireland) has confirmed that one of its aircraft, an ATR72-200, serial 1297, experienced a nose gear collapse while landing at Belfast City Airport. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among passengers or crew, but the aircraft sustained substantial damage, prompting an investigation into the incident.
TrueNoord (Netherlands) has completed the acquisition of seven ATR72-600 aircraft from GOAL Aircraft Leasing (Germany). These aircraft are currently on lease to prominent European carriers, further strengthening TrueNoord’s regional aviation portfolio.
