Airlink, Southern Africa’s leading regional carrier, has officially finalized a lease agreement with Azorra for 10 brand-new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, marking a major fleet expansion that will support the airline’s next phase of growth across sub-Saharan Africa. The first delivery is expected later this year, with all aircraft scheduled for delivery by 2027.
BeauTech Power Systems, a US-based engine solutions provider, has completed the acquisition of twelve CF34-10E engines from Alliance Aviation Services of Australia. This transaction significantly strengthens BeauTech’s inventory of regional jet engine assets, particularly those supporting the Embraer E190/E195 aircraft family.
Air Montenegro has expanded its operational fleet with the addition of a third Embraer E195 aircraft, serial number 19000184, which has now entered revenue service following the issuance of an airworthiness certificate by the Montenegrin Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Air Serbia has returned its sole Embraer E195 aircraft, registered YU-ATB (serial number 19000213), to service following nearly two months of maintenance in Naples. The aircraft resumed operations on a flight between Belgrade and Dusseldorf.
Breeze Airways (US) has announced plans to operate its Embraer E190/E195 fleet until mid-2026, after which the carrier will shift its focus to the A220 aircraft. While the Embraer jets will continue serving regular routes for the next few years, they will eventually be retained exclusively for charter operations before being completely phased out.
