Unical Aviation, based in the US, has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative by acquiring a fleet of A320neoairframes, setting up the industry’s first dedicated disassembly program for Airbus’s neo-family aircraft. The disassembly operations will be conducted by ecube, a specialist in aircraft end-of-life solutions, located in the UK. These operations are scheduled to commence in April 2025.
Setna iO, a US-based aviation asset management and parts supplier, has acquired another Boeing 757-300 for immediate disassembly. The aircraft, previously operated by Condor, will be dismantled by ecube in Spain, further expanding Setna iO’s inventory of used serviceable materials (USM) for commercial aircraft.

3TOP Aviation Services (UK) has taken delivery of the fourth and final ex-TAROM Airbus A318, completing a multi-aircraft package deal. The aircraft, bearing serial number 3225, was flown to ecube in Spain, where it will undergo dismantling.
