Mont Gabaon Airlines (Democratic Republic of Congo) is poised to expand its fleet with the imminent delivery of a Boeing B737-500. This addition underscores the airline’s efforts to enhance its operational capacity and regional connectivity.
Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest carrier, is set to deliver two Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to support the launch of Air Congo, a new joint venture airline in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The new airline is scheduled to begin operations in December 2024.
Congo Airways has announced the wet lease of a second Boeing 737-800, serial number 34274, from KlasJet, a Lithuanian charter operator. The aircraft will be based in Kinshasa for a six-month period, supporting the airline’s growing operational needs.
