Z Air (Bonaire) has secured a legal victory against the Sint Maarten government, following a court ruling that determined the Civil Aviation Authority of Sint Maarten (CAA) imposed unlawful and unnecessary conditions on the airline’s flight permits.
Z Air, based in Bonaire, has taken delivery of its first jet aircraft, an ERJ145 with serial number 145667. This milestone marks an important step in the carrier’s fleet development as it seeks to expand its operational capabilities.
Winair, based in Bonaire, has added a nonstop flight between Bonaire and St. Maarten, operational since 11 December 2024. This new service, operated with an ATR42 aircraft, enhances connectivity between the two Caribbean destinations, offering passengers a reliable and direct travel option.
