Ukraine Seizes Seven UIA Aircraft in Tax Evasion Probe

The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has seized seven aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) in connection with a tax evasion case involving a Cypriot company linked to Ukrainian oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky and Aron Mayberg. The seized assets include three Boeing 737-800s, one Boeing 737-900, and three Embraer E190s, with a combined value of approximately $40 million.
