Air Niugini has announced that its first Airbus A220 has entered final assembly at Mirabel, Canada, with delivery scheduled for September 2025. This aircraft is the first of 11 A220s—in both -100 and -300 variants—that the airline plans to introduce as part of its ambitious fleet renewal strategy.
