Madagascar Airlines has signed lease extension agreements with Abelo, an Ireland-based aircraft leasing company, for two ATR72 turboprops. The agreements cover serial number 698, an ATR72-500, which will now remain in service through January 2028, and serial number 1248, an ATR72-600, which is extended until November 2029.
Abelo, an Ireland-based aircraft leasing company, has closed a new warehouse financing facility of up to US$750 million. The facility was underwritten by Deutsche Bank and arranged with Deutsche Bank acting as Sole Structuring Agent, while both Deutsche Bank and MUFG (Japan) served as Joint Lead Arrangers.

Renegade Air (Kenya) has expanded its fleet with the delivery of its first ATR42-500, marking a significant step in its regional growth strategy. The aircraft, acquired from Abelo (Ireland), will support the airline’s expanding network across Kenya and East Africa.
