American Airlines is preparing to take delivery of a new Airbus A321neo, further expanding its narrowbody fleet to support domestic and international growth. The aircraft, bearing manufacturer serial number (MSN) 12368, is an A321-253NY variant equipped with two CFM International LEAP-1A33 engines, known for their improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and lower noise profile compared to previous-generation engines.
Aer Lingus is in the final stages of preparation to take delivery of a new Airbus A321-253NY, manufacturer serial number 12412, from Airbus.
