Sun PhuQuoc Airways, Vietnam’s newest airline backed by tourism giant Sun Group, has officially taken delivery of its first aircraft—a factory-fresh Airbus A321NX manufactured in Hamburg, Germany. The aircraft arrived at Phú Quốc International Airport on August 10, marking the first of eight scheduled for delivery during 2025. This milestone underscores the airline’s commitment to positioning Phú Quốc, known as the “Pearl Island,” as both a premier tourist destination and an emerging regional aviation hub.
