Silk Way West Airlines Extends GE Aerospace Partnership

Silk Way West Airlines has extended its strategic services agreement with GE Aerospace, a move that underscores the carrier’s ambitions for growth and modernization in the global air cargo market. The comprehensive agreement covers maintenance for five Boeing 747-8F powered by GEnx-2B engines, six Boeing 777F with GE90-115B engines, and up to four upcoming Boeing 777-8F with GE9X engines. This collaboration secures long-term technical support while providing predictable cost structures under a power-by-the-hour model, aligning both companies’ incentives toward maximizing fleet reliability.
