Maldivian to Launch Direct Long-Haul Flights to China in Early 2025

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced plans to launch direct long-haul flights to Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu in early 2025. These flights will be operated with the Airbus A330-200, enabling the airline to expand its reach into the Chinese market and provide seamless connectivity for travelers between the Maldives and key cities in China. The introduction of these routes aligns with Maldivian’s strategic goal to enhance its long-haul capabilities and capture a larger share of the growing tourism demand from China.
