Liquid Sun Launches eSAF Pilot Project With Finnair and Partners

Liquid Sun, a Finnish clean-tech company, has announced the launch of a pioneering electro Sustainable Aviation Fuel (eSAF) pilot project in cooperation with Finnair, ABB, Fortum, and Finavia. Scheduled to begin production in Autumn 2025 at a new facility in Espoo, the initiative represents Finland’s first attempt at producing aviation fuel directly from biogenic CO₂ emissions and renewable hydrogen.
