Ryanair, the Irish low-cost airline, has shared projections that Boeing will increase the monthly production rate of its B737 MAX aircraft to 38 units by the end of summer 2025. Additionally, production could climb to 42 units per month by October 2025, subject to approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Frontier Airlines, a U.S.-based ultra-low-cost carrier, has announced the selection of GTF engines from Pratt & Whitney to power its incoming fleet of 91 Airbus A321neo aircraft. The first aircraft is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2026, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability.
4 Airways, based in Malta, has expanded its operational fleet with the delivery of a Boeing 737-400, bearing manufacturer serial number (MSN) 24686. The aircraft is powered by CFM56-3C1 engines, a widely used powerplant in classic 737 variants known for their reliability and operational cost-efficiency.
Southwest Airlines, the largest low-cost carrier in the United States, has expanded its 737 fleet with the addition of a new Boeing 737-8, serial number 68629. The aircraft is powered by LEAP-1B28 engines, produced by CFM International, and supports the airline’s ongoing commitment to fleet modernization and fuel efficiency.
Starlux Airlines, a rapidly growing luxury airline based in Taiwan, has further expanded its aircraft fleet by taking delivery of a new Airbus A350-900. This aircraft, identified by serial number 712, is equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines.
Bonair, a Turkey-based operator headquartered at Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen Airport, has added its first Global 5000aircraft to its fleet, according to ch-aviation research. The newly registered TC-EGG (msn 9544) is an 11.9-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft, previously operated under the Danish registration OY-VIZ.
