Bamboo Airways Cancels Phu Quoc-Taiwan Charter Services

Bamboo Airways (Vietnam) has announced the cancellation of its planned charter services between Phu Quoc and Taiwan, which were scheduled to commence on 18 January 2025. The flights were to be operated using the airline’s Airbus A321 aircraft, offering a direct connection for leisure and business travelers.

This decision comes amid uncertain demand in the charter flight market and operational adjustments. The Phu Quoc-Taiwan route was expected to boost tourism and enhance connectivity between the two regions. However, Bamboo Airways is currently exploring other strategic opportunities to optimize its network and better meet passenger needs.
