Airbus Sets Aggressive Production Targets Across Fleet
Airbus has outlined ambitious production targets for its commercial aircraft programs, setting goals to meet rising global demand. The A220 program aims for a monthly production rate of 14 aircraft by 2026, though profitability remains a challenge, as noted by Airbus executives. Meanwhile, the A320 Family is on track to reach a rate of 75 units per month by 2027, driven by strong demand and improved production processes. The latest addition to this line, the A321XLR, saw its first delivery in October, underscoring Airbus’s commitment to expanding single-aisle offerings.
