Airbus Confirms Leadership Changes for CEO and Commercial Aircraft
Airbus has announced key leadership changes, beginning with the renewal of Guillaume Faury’s role as CEO and a continued position on the Executive Board. Additionally, Airbus confirmed that Lars Wagner, currently CEO of MTU Aero Engines, will transition to the Airbus Executive Committee, taking over as CEO of the Commercial Aircraft division. Wagner will replace Christian Scherer, who will continue leading the division until Wagner’s MTU term ends, ensuring a seamless transition. Scherer’s oversight will support continuity as Airbus prioritizes stable management to advance its global aerospace projects.
